BEHIND THE SCENES: The Roman Collection Campaign Shoot

We have had so many wonderful kind words about the campaign photographs for Lucy Williams x Missoma: The Roman Collection, we wanted to give you a little glimpse of behind the scenes at Villa Machiavelli, Italy, where we were lucky enough to shoot.

Sat on a hill, with a view of the Duomo framed by an avenue of cyprus trees, the Villa Machiavelli was an idyllic setting for campaign shoot. Dating back to the 14th century, the villa was built by the Machiavelli family and designed by Michelangelo.

The classic beauty of Machiavelli Villa combined with its art and idyllic Tuscan setting guarantees a brush with the historic past.

Copious amounts of carbs were consumed after long days of shooting. We sat out in the evenings over looking the spectacular views with the 'house' wine in hand, absorbing the beauty surrounding us.

Lucy and Frances know each other so well, they moved in tune with such fluidity we managed to shoot 19 locations and outfit changes in just two days.
