Missoma HQ has gone ear-piercing crazy. In fact there has been much chatter of an office-outing to our local tattooist (Portobello’s amazing LOVE HATE)... And Marisa might have been three times in the last 2 months… It sure is addictive this piercing thing. A quick glance at your pinterest feed and you’ll see it’s not just the ‘edgy’ or the ‘punk’ peeps sporting a gilded lobe. Everyone’s doing it. Yes… now you can turn up at the school gates and the fashion mums are even sporting the top hole. The very same piercing we got when we were 15 and Mum wept saying she was worried you were going off the rails… the very same hole. Now women everywhere are flooding back to Claires Accessories. Oh but by the way, apparently those ear piercing guns aren’t always such a great idea. Who knew? Your best shout is to find a recommended piercer. Who do we recommend? LOVE HATE’s Nicole Mitchell that’s who. The wonderful thing about the modern, creative world of piercing is that there are no rules. Some people want a closely placed group of three rings pierced in a row far away from their first ear lobe piercing. This and other asymmetric looks, where the right ear and the left ear deliberately do not match are frequently requested.
SO. Why is everyone in Missoma HQ now sporting 5 holes minimum? The new Missoma Studs.
