The rain can’t dampen any Missoma Girl’s spirit.
Rosy cheeked friends and fans flooded into Farm Girl last night and spent the evening cooing over the new Lucy Williams x Missoma ‘North Star’ collection. We sipped on Cointreau Fizz cocktails, and munched on vegan BLTs and the most morish of cocoa balls courtesy of Farm Girl – We defy you to not make this your new favourite superfood haven. Music played from the heavens (ok.. well.. from the mezzanine…) from our fave Missoma model meets DJ Vika Skyte, who smashed the decks, throwing in a few festive bangers.
Enormous thanks to all who made it down to Farm Girl to celebrate with us. It was so great to see some of our fashion faves like the gorgeous Kelly Eastwood, Katherine Ormerod, Rosanna Falconer and the divine Soraya Bakhtiar. We’re so grateful for your kind generosity and support of such a great women’s charity. 100% of all profits from the evening’s sales were donated to Wellbeing of Women, which we are really proud to have been a part of.
From day one of teaming up together for a second collaboration collection, both Lucy and Marisa (our Creative Director) decided the collection would raise awareness and funds for a cause they believed needed to be highlighted. WELLBEING OF WOMEN is a unique health charity investing in the future of women and their babies. They fund pioneering medical research to improve diagnosis, develop better treatments and find cures for reproductive health issues.
“In wearing these pieces, you're supporting a fantastic charity that's working hard to improve the health of women and babies by helping to fund research into everything from cervical cancer and endometriosis, to recurrent miscarriages and the health of premature babies.”
- Lucy Williams
We’re thrilled to be supporting this charity with our new Lucy Williams x Missoma 'North Star’ collection, and we'll be donating 20% of all online sales from this collection to Wellbeing of Women. In promoting & selling this collection, we not only seek to raise much-needed funds for conditions that affect so many women, but will also increase awareness about Wellbeing of Women’s crucial work. While we hope you love the collection, it’s important to remember that you are also helping Wellbeing of Women to achieve the breakthroughs that will ensure the future health of women and babies everywhere. It is vital that they continue this work since research remains the single most powerful means of advancing care and finding curative treatments.
