A Note on Black Friday...

We wanted to take a moment to say thank you for sticking with us through the Black Friday hell. As many of you know all to well, November saw us hit incredibly hard by Black Friday. Of course we were expecting large volumes, but we had not predicted the 70,000 new visitors (that's on top of our existing customers!!!) which led to the crashing of the website for the first 24 hours after launch. I cannot tell you how hard the team worked in the ensuing days, and indeed months. Basically not sleeping for the first 48 hours, our Tech and Marketing teams worked around the clock to get up and running whilst doing out best to keep you updated on social. 

A server upgrade and IP address change later and the site was slowly getting back to normal... but all you wonderful people trying to get online meant the site continued to work at a slow rate until the following week. We are SO grateful for your patience and we are thrilled you all managed to get what you were hoping for. We have learned so much in the last two months and look forward to NOT having a repeat over Black Friday 2018...!

Thank you also to all the people who so kindly took time to reach out on social channels. It HONESTLY made the whole experience worth it... and drove a few of us to tears for the heartfelt words expressed in support of the team. Indeed... #SupportForMissoma was going around twitter. I can't tell you what it means to the team to work for a brand with such amazing customers. When new team members start it is always commented upon... to have a customer who is so thoughtful and generous with words of care and encouragement is more than we could ask for! We truly appreciate you guys and you make us... well...who we are as a brand and we are so grateful. Here are some of our fave messages over this stressful peroid!

We take huge pleasure in speaking and writing to as many customers as possible and indeed we love hearing from you! In 2018, we will continue to press forward with creating something really special for you, whilst endlessly striving to deliver on quality and indeed aiming to offer the best customer service!
